When I lived in London, Monday Blues visited me regularly. It was a most unwelcome friend. It tended to ruin my weekend, as all I could think about was the on coming week. What kind of a life was that? Spending the good present time worrying about time yet to arrive.
So, why do I not have Monday morning blues? I think it is because I can fill my life with the things I love here. I am a true outdoors girl. When the going gets tough, I can de-stress with Mother Nature. I can take myself to the beach. If I do not want to swim, I can take a walk with bare feet on the sand and watch the sun set. I can drive to the Limassol mountains and sit under a tree with a notepad and pen, planning my life and its next chapter.
Life is a little more peaceful in Limassol. I do not have to sit in heavy traffic for hours to travel a relatively short distance. I do not have to stand in a crowded tube train with strangers being a little too close by for comfort. I do not have to queue for 30 minutes to pay for my Supermarket shopping. The list goes on...
Limassol people have more time for each other. People stop to say hello and they smile. Life is at a slower pace and this is very relaxing. I love my life in Limassol. It seems to be the perfect place for bringing the things I adore straight to me.
